This interview with Richie Hawtin almost didn't happen. In fact, I thought it wasn't going to happen until I got the email, raced to a landline and made the international call. Then I raced to the computer, transcribed it and did the story. Turned it in in less than 24 hours, a personal best.
This is going to be a crazy weekend. Droog party tonight. The Cure and Richie Hawtin tomorrow. Interviews on Sunday for a story I'm so psyched to write, plus finishing up a piece for Razorcake.
Speaking of
Razorcake, the new issue is out now. I wrote about going to my first anime con. Kiyoshi Nakazawa of the zine Drunken Master did a fantastic job with the art work. He even included elements of Full Metal Alchemist in it.
In other news, I'm working on a website to put together my clips in one easy-to-search area. And I got a badass new computer, so sometime after I get used to using a laptop keypad, I'm going to learn to edit video.
Tis all for now.
