Information Society had a huge hit in the late 1980s with the song "What's on Your Mind (Pure Energy)," but the band also released some lesser-known and even more killer dance tracks like "Running." The band is still around today and I had the chance to meet up with Paul Robb for the Santa Monica Mirror.
Also, check out the lead story on the SM Mirror website, penned by moi. Santa Monica High School's Team Marine just won a Statewide marine science competition with a project involving plastics in the ocean.
